Pop Quiz
In education, hours are spent on instruction that explores factual data and theories. Time is allowed to personalize what the student learns. Instructors will periodically deliver a pop quiz to test if members of the class comprehend what is being taught. This unexpected turn in the curricula can be uncomfortably revealing for some but reassuring to others. God also provides opportunities to test what you have learned and comprehend. The Bible reading and study you have done, personalizing what you discover in your prayer conversations with the Lord, will get “pop quizzed” in life. God wants you to really know Him and His Word, to strengthen your heart’s relationship with Him, and to acknowledge in every trial that your confidence rests in Him alone. Ask the Lord to prepare your heart and mind for the next pop quiz, so you will be ready to pass the test.
